Mixed domestic plastics such as margarine containers are accepted at the Sainsbury's Farlington site, because they use a different recycling contractor from the city council.

  • any plastic bottle tops marked with 2 in a triangle, not just from milk bottles!
  • old mobile phones, for Avro Vulcan XH558
  • printer ink cartridges (not Epson)
  • all sorts of tools, for Tools for Self Reliance, or Tools with a Mission
  • aluminium foil (no metallised plastic such as pill sheets). Please wash first. It is taken to St. Mary's Church Fratton
  • foreign coins, donated to charity

  • Iron and steel are presently of little value. They are accepted but you will need a lot to get any payment.
