Gardening ClubMeeting at 7.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall, Farlington. This month there will be another interesting talk by Brian Kidd. There will be a raffle, refreshments and a plant stall. Members 50p Non-members £1. (PO6 1AA)

 

Wednesday 8th

Confessions of a Weatherman! Friends of Portsdown Hill present “Ian Hurst's passion for Weather” at the Church of the Resurrection Hall, Drayton at 7.45pm. The entrance fee is £2 including refreshments. Phone Alan on 92325570 for further details. (PO6 2AW)

 

Saturday 11th

The Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre's Christmas Fayre at Drayton United Church, from 11am - 1pm. Lots of lovely new gifts, Christmas items, raffle, tombola, jewellery, refreshments and lots more. £1 entry includes a tea or coffee. Proceeds are in aid of the Centre which provides a rescue and re-homing facility for cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. (PO6 1PA)

 

Tuesday 21st

Three Course Meal (with drink on arrival and coffee) at 12 noon at Southdown College, Waterlooville (PO7 8AA). This charity event in aid of the Drayton and Farlington Action Group is always popular and the number of tickets is limited so get in early. Tickets cost £15.75 and are available from the Information Centre, Drayton. Tel 92380000 (PO6 1PA)

 

Saturday 2ndDecember,

Christmas Fayre from 2pm to 4pm in St Colman’s Church Hall. Cosham. There are chocolate, bottle, bric a brac, cake, chutney and Christmas, stalls. There are children’s games, refreshments and a raffle with prizes donated from Tesco, Boots, Pavilion Tea Rooms at Stansted, The Toby Carvery and the Sea life Centre. There is also a visit from Santa (PO6 2JJ)

Flu Vaccinations

If you are 65 years of age or over or in one of the clinical at risk groups and would like to receive a free flu vaccination, the Drayton Surgery has another Saturday walk-in flu clinic on 4th Novemberfrom 8.30am to 10.30am. No appointment is necessary. (PO6 1PA)
