Wednesday 4th
Glow-worms on Portsdown. After a short walk on Portsdown we will search for glowworms on our way back to our cars. The walk is 2 to 3 miles with some slopes.  Meet at 8.30 p.m. Park carefully and meet at the junction of Gillman Rd and Grant Road, Drayton. (PO6 1AN)

Gardening Club Meeting at 7.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall, Farlington when Mr Paul Patten who will be talking on Wonderful Herbs. All welcome - members 50p non-members £1. (PO6 1AA)

Portsmouth U3A Meeting at the Cosham Baptist Church from 2pm-4pm including a talk by Nigel Gossop on “The Westerman Yarns” (The author Percy Westerman was prolific writer of 178  boys books) Members free visitors £2 (PO6 2QZ)
 
Saturday 21st 
Folks in Harmony Fundraising Concert at the Church of the Resurrection, Drayton. A selection of music and song and great entertainment in a variety performance of showtime. Doors open at 7 p.m for 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £8 (includes fizz and ice cream) and are available from Ollie on 02392 366508. (PO6 2AP)
       
Wednesday 25th
Walk new paths on Portsdown. On this 2 mile walk we will explore new routes on the north face of Portsdown and return along the top of the south side of the hill.  7 p.m. till about 8.30.  Meet in the car-park in Widley Walk west of the Churchillian. (PO6 3LS)
 
Saturday 28th 
Parish Summer Fair at the Church of the Resurrection, Drayton in the church, hall and surrounding grounds from 11am to 4 pm (approx). There will be stalls, raffles, fun, food and entertainment for all. Admission is free. This is a fundraising event for Friends Without Borders. (PO6 2AP)

Saturday 28th
A Pub Lunch followed by a Beetle Drive and Quiz to be held in the bar area of the Sunshine Inn, Farlington, at 12.00 for 12.30 eat. It is a fun afternoon and at the same time you will be supporting the Drayton & Farlington Action Group enabling it to continue to publish this newsletter, run the Information Centre and all its other activities.
